Pre-owned Rolex Submariner ref 116610 (2013). The first Rolex dive watch came to market in 1953 and was officially released the following year at Basel World 1954. A few years later in 1962, the iconic dive watch made its silver screen debut on the wrist of Sean Connery in the James Bond flick Dr. No. Since that time the Sub has been the watch of choice among some of the most prominent figures in the world, including A-list celebrities, politicians, fortune 500 CEOs, and famous musicians. While there are many variations of the watch currently available on the preowned Rolex market, one of the hottest references is the discontinued Rolex 116610, which features the brand’s highly coveted Cerachrom bezel insert, a 40mm Oyster case, and a matching black maxi dial with larger luminous hour markers and Mercedes hands.
