Vintage Watch Condition Examination:
This GMT is in overall great, attractive vintage condition. The case is in good condition with normal signs of wear. Between the lugs show wear and the numbers are still visible. The service bezel is in great condition; the colors have remained vibrant and has some wear. The bezel is tight to rotate. The date wheel has developed some patina and has closed 6s and hooked 7s. The dial is in attractive condition with light patina and some marks that can be hard to notice depending on the lighting. The hour markers and hands have developed patina with the lume on the aged to a pleasing beige color. The lume on the hands match the dial, the GMT hand has been color corrected/ relumed to match the other hands.
Description: Rolex GMT-Master 1675
The reference 1675 is the second iteration of the original GMT Master and was offered in many variations. A handful of metal options were produced under ref. 1675, including the steel and gold like the example we have here. It pairs the two-tone finish with a beautiful brown dial with brown and gold bezel. However, what really sets this watch apart from other vintage Rolexes on the market are the charming yellow gold nipple hour markers and overall ‘Root Beer’ motif. We paired this watch on a lovely brown leather strap that matches nicely with the dial and bezel.
