Description: Rolex Sea-Dweller 16600
Pre-owned Rolex Sea-Dweller ref 16600 (1997) is the brand’s third iteration of its innovative deep saturation diver. It replaced “Triple Six” ref. 16660 in the late 1980s, bringing with it the upgraded caliber 3135 Perpetual movement. Although it still kept the same scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and impressive 1,220-meter depth rating as the transitional reference that came before it. Rolex produced many variations of ref. 16600 during its decades-long production run, including the Luminova Rolex for sale here. The collection initially used Tritium, then Luminova, and finally Super-LumiNova. It’s a fascinating watch to study and an even more stylish and dependable statement piece that perfectly demonstrates Rolex’s impressive watchmaking prowess.
