Pre-owned Rolex Milgauss ref 116400 (2008 – 2009) is Rolex’s signature anti-magnetic watch, thoughtfully developed for those who work around high magnetic fields, such as scientists, medical professionals, powerplant workers, and railroad workers. Before watches like the Milgauss were released in the 1950s, high magnetic fields would affect the precision and functionality of timepieces. Rolex added a soft-iron cage to the inside of the case, protecting the movement and preserving its precision up to 1,000 gauss. This collection has since been discontinued, making it a prized collector’s item among those in the know. The example you see here is particularly remarkable because the black dial has faded over time, adding to its charm and uniqueness.
