Pre-owned Rolex Submariner ref 16610 (1995) was one of the last of the stainless steel Subs to sport an aluminum bezel. This model was released in the late 1980s and represented a modern transition of the series, sporting glitzier white gold applied hour markers, the caliber 3135 Perpetual movement, and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Fast-forward to the late 1990s/2000s, before Rolex discontinued the model to make way for the then-new ceramic bezel generation. Older-production 16610s, like this authentic pre-owned Rolex, have newer Super-LumiNova luminescent material.
