Pre-owned Rolex Datejust ref 116233 (2011) is already striking enough in the brand’s classically elegant Yellow Rolesor, a two-tone finish that pairs 904L-grade Oystersteel with 18k yellow gold. However, the vibrant Jubilee wave dial makes it even more remarkable. It is a watch face decorated with the classic repeating ROLEX motif from other Jubilee dials but in a wavy pattern. The Rolex logo stands apart in white text framed by a matching white border and diamond-encrusted yellow gold Arabic numerals at 6 and 9 o’clock. The rest of the dial is decorated with Super-LumiNova and yellow gold. At its core, ref. 116233 is a standard 36mm model with a self-winding mechanical movement, Twinlock waterproof screw-down crown, and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
