Pre-owned Rolex Sea-Dweller ref 16600 (2006) for sale here today is an older-model Rolex that was produced from 1989 to 2009. An impressive production run, the ref. 16600 has since become a prized collector’s item on the secondary market. While the current generation is equipped with an upgraded ceramic bezel inlay, the ref. 16600 utilizes an aluminum insert. It also boasts smaller luminous plots on the dial than the “Maxi” variations that are currently in production. The series is notably equipped with a Helium Escape Valve, which sets it apart from its cousin the Submariner and allows it to withstand greater depths of up to 4,000 feet. It also includes a desirable stainless steel finish and a black dial and bezel, creating a versatile tool watch for use on land or in the sea.
