Pre-owned Rolex Datejust ref 1625 (1976) is one of the earliest examples of the series and one of the first references to sport a gold bezel. It came to market around the late 1950s and remained in production for several decades. Part of its massive appeal lies in the effortless pairing of the legendary Datejust with a rotatable bezel, which in itself was a Rolex first because it came to market a few years before other more iconic rotatable bezel models, such as the Submariner and GMT Master. Ref. 1625 is a striking steel and gold example on the iconic 5-link Rolex Jubilee bracelet. The champagne dial has aged nicely over the years and features Tritium in a warm patina.
