Pre-owned Rolex Explorer ref 214270 (2016) was produced from 2010 to 2021, during which a few iterations came to market. The dial featured silvered 3/6/9 Arabic hour markers for the first few years and what many keen-eyed collectors considered short hands. A few years after ref 214270 came to market, Rolex revamped the dial, slightly elongating the hands to suit the dial’s proportions better and swapping the silvered numerals for a fully-lumed display.
